Danville Area Community College combined forces with Vermilion Advantage to welcome over 90 prospective employers to Thursday’s (April 23rd) Career Expo at DACC’s Mary Miller Gymnasium. Chuck Jones from Vermilion County Works was there. He says from anyone needing a replacement job, to adults wanting to go in a new direction, to students considering future opportunities; this was the place to be.

AUDIO: Whether it’s folks from Hyster, whether it’s folks from Blue Cross Blue Shield; or really anybody who’s looking from a job, this is really where we want people to come out. We have a lot of employers here; and a lot of positions are being offered. It’s really a unique opportunity to see all these employers here in one place; where you can turn in your resumes, ask questions, fill out applications; just a great opportunity.

The 9 to 10:30 AM session was for students, with the 10:39 to 1:30 session for the general public.
