Recently on D102’s The Big Show, Tommy B talked with Cam Pepper, Chief Marketing Officer for Longview Capital and Longview Bank. The topic was an upcoming Remote Area Medical clinic; scheduled for Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th at Paris High School.
As Pepper explained, this will be a medical clinic especially emphasizing free dental and vision care. And all they need to know from you is, “What do you need done?”
AUDIO: We do not require ID. If you don’t want to tell us your name; as long as we can get a little medical background, we can help you. And it’s free. We don’t require anybody to have insurance. So, if people just come, we’re going to be open at 6 AM on Saturday, and at 6 AM on Sunday. Right now, our biggest need is dentists.
To volunteer as a dentist, an eye doctor, or volunteer in any way, go to RAMUSA.org. This will be at the new Paris High School on the north end of town, and Pepper says many from miles away often camp out in the parking lots waiting for the early morning openings for these clinics.
