THE FOLLOWING IS A “TAPS ON TUESDAY” RELEASE
The June 2nd “Taps on Tuesday” program will be focus on Corporal David Haley of the 55th Regiment of the U.S.C.T. A marker denoting his Civil War service was recently placed in the Soldiers Circle at Spring Hill Cemetery, where the program will held on Tuesday. Larry Weatherford, who is President of the War Museum said, “I believe people will enjoy learning about this brave African-American soldier who lived to be almost a hundred years old.” Rebecca Woodrum will lead in singing the National Anthem and Taps will be sounded by Anita Zoeller. The program starts at 6:00 p.m.
