OAKWOOD — The Possum Trot Supper Club is set to pay tribute to late owner Greg Wright this weekend through a variety of sounds and smells, including the music of Coldplay and the aromas of blackened salmon pasta and sea bass with lobster risotto and others of his favorite dishes.
Mr. Wright, 57, of Covington, Ind., who died July 24, was an amazing chef, his friends and family said. He and former wife Nina Wright bought the Possum Trot 24 years ago.

“Greg was the life of the party,” said Joseph Roberson, who has served as general manager for three years and was one of the first hires when the restaurant reopened in 2021 after the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. “He was the type of person to walk into a room and just command it. He never met a stranger.”
Their connection helped Roberson become the manager he is today, he said.
