Potomac will be celebrating its sesquicentennial on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Millie Curtis Park in Potomac. Among the events planned are a 5k race at 8:00 am, followed by a parade at 11:30. Throughout the day will be a variety of activities for all ages, including inflatables, face painting, a donut-eating contest, bingo, cake walk, a Potomac history talk, bags tournament, live music, games, and food trucks.
