FAIRMOUNT — Fisher National Bank last week had a ribbon-cutting for its new Georgetown branch facility and now it’s investing even more in Vermilion County.
The bank on Wednesday announced the acquisition of the INB branch in Fairmount, expanding its commitment to serving rural communities, local businesses and families throughout east central Illinois, bank officials said.
The conversion is scheduled for Oct. 24, with the branch reopening as Fisher National Bank on Oct. 26.
Bank officials say the addition of the Fairmount location marks another milestone in Fisher National Bank’s continued growth and reinforces its longstanding mission of providing community-focused banking backed by local ownership, local decision-making and personalized customer service.
