This coming weekend; Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th; will be “Rev War and Pioneer Craft Day” at Forest Glen.
You can celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary by stepping back to 1776, and experiencing history as it happened. You’ll explore authentic military encampments, watch soldiers drill, and enjoy fashion demonstrations from that time period. There will also be Revolutionary War battle reenactments at 3:30 on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Sunday will include Pioneer Craft Day activities. You’ll learn things from homesteader life such as cider pressing, fry bread samples, and candle dipping for children.
Admission and all activities are free.
