Danville’s new Sunnyside cannabis dispensary had people waiting outside before they opened the doors today (Wednesday). Cresco Labs opened what is the sixth Illinois location for the company at 369 Lynch Drive (on Danville’s east side).
Mary Cluxton, Regional Retail Director for Illinois for Cresco Labs (shown in photo), says the cannabis sales are not about going out and partying….
{‘’You would think that it’s just about, ‘Oh, I want to come and party’. It’s not the case. We’re seeing people with chronic pain, anxiety, sleep disorders that are coming in and we’re giving them the same advice we’d give a medical patient – you know as far as strains and what we would recommend,’’ said Cluxton. ‘’We’re not doctors – we can’t tell them for sure what they need – but just trial and error. And give them the options of what might work for them, and the different dispensing mechanisms. And we’re not here to judge your cannabis journey – whether they’re an adult use or medical patient. We’re just here to serve them whatever choice they make.’’}

Cluxton described the products that are available at the new Danville dispensary….
Cresco completely renovated a former Danville restaurant along Lynch Road turning it into the company’s new dispensary.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the store will operate with online orders only and in-store pickup.
