Danville Area Community College is planning to reopen some of its on-campus operations next month.
DACC President Dr. Stephen Nacco said during a board of trustees meeting Thursday night that some summer classes such as welding will be held on-campus, even though most classes will still be online-only. He said some of the central business operations like registration will open on-campus with a skeleton crew for four hours daily.
Nacco said the college will have two entrance centers where students and staff will have their temperatures checked. He said everyone will have to wear a sticker stating that they have been tested.
Other social distancing measures like plexi-glass dividers will be installed around the college in the next week.
