Small business owners and low-income households can apply for grant money being awarded through the City of Danville to support those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The city is releasing $373,000 to small businesses and $200,000 to low and moderate income households. Both grants are Community Development Block Grant programs offered through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Small businesses are eligible for up to $10,000 each depending on circumstances, while individuals can receive up to $1,250 each to pay for rent, mortgage or vehicle payments.
