Vermilion County Presiding Circuit Judge Thomas M. O’Shaughnessy has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Judges Association. His selection was made during the Illinois Judges Association annual meeting which – for the first time ever – was held electronically, via Zoom.
Judge O’Shaughnessy will serve a three year term on the board. The Association consists of more than 1250 active and retired judges.
Judge O’Shaughnessy also serves on the Illinois Judges Association’s Judicial Selection and Retention along with the Government Affairs Committees. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, serving on the Child Law Section Council, and is a member and past president of the Vermilion County Bar Association. He and his wife, Darla, have three adult children.
