Vermilion County has four more COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 30.
The new cases are a person in their 50’s, two residents in their 20’s and one grade-school-aged child, which goes along with a young child whose case was reported yesterday.
Two people are still hospitalized, while the remaining 28 are in isolation.
The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 36 deaths, which include two Champaign County men in their 70’s. IDPH also announced 980 new cases. Illinois now has a total of 149,432 cases and 7,099 deaths.
