Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Danville’s Labor Day Parade has been canceled.
Mayor Rickey Williams Jr. says the decision was made out of an abundance of caution. He says he looks forward to 2021 when the parade can return.
Westville has also canceled its Labor Day parade this fall.
