Food trucks could soon be subject to city ordinances under a plan up for a vote at tonight’s Danville city council meeting.
Alderman will consider amending the city’s code to add a new section dealing with food trucks.
Food trucks have become more popular in recent years by many people eating there who don’t want to eat in a sit-down restaurant. They have also been able to do business throughout the pandemic.
Council members will also vote on adding regulations for fireworks displays in the city.
They are also expected to vote on a $52,000 purchase of laptops and tablets for alderman to use during teleconferencing and regular city council meetings. Alderman Steve Foster asked at the previous council meetings that it be considered.
