A Danville woman has been arrested after allegedly shooting at a man during an argument over the weekend.
Danville Police Commander Josh Webb says 22-year-old J’Naya Edmunds was arrested Monday after she was identified by witnesses as the person who fired a gun in the direction of another person on Saturday afternoon at Winter Park.
Officers were told that Edmunds and an unidentified man had gotten into an argument, and she allegedly grabbed a gun from the trunk of her vehicle and fired shots at him. A bystander recorded the incident on his cell phone.
Edmunds faces charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. She was also charged with trespassing and assault in separate instances this year.
