FRIDAY, AUGUST 7
- Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Wieners & Wine/Free Live Music – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-9:00PM; Wieners & Wine 5:00-8:00PM. You buy the drinks, we provide the hot dogs, fixings & fire to roast it over. Free live music with LTW; 6:30-8:30PM; For outdoor seating, you are welcome to bring your lawn chairs and pop up tents.
- Free Pilates Sessions at Danville Public Library – (319 N. Vermilion, Danville) We will be using a variety of instructional videos, Registration, Yoga/Pilates mat & face mask required; 4:00PM. To register call 217-477-5223 Ext. 121. For adults, ages 18 & over.
- Danville American Legion Post #210 Dinner – (201 Prospect Place, Danville) Serving dinner from 5:00-7:00PM for curbside pickup, dine in or carry out. Place your orders in advance starting at 4:30PM. Dinner choices include catfish, catfish sandwich, shrimp, hamburger or cheeseburger, and grilled or breaded tenderloins. Cost is $9.
- Downtown Hoopeston Farmer’s Market at 112 Wine & Coffee Shoppe Parking Lot – (112 E. Main, Hoopeston) 5:00-7:00PM
- Summer Sounds Free Concert Series in Downtown Danville – (Temple Plaza) Live music with the House of Cards band; 5:00-9:00PM.
- Gao Grotto Dinner – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) Menu of Pork Chops or Chicken Leg Quarters off the big grill with sides of Baked Potato, Salad, & Texas Toast from 5:30-7:30PM. Cost is $12, Appetizers are also available for purchase.
- Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland – (8 Brewer Rd, Danville) 6:00-9:00PM; Admission $8. Due to COVID regulations entrance limited to 50 people. Miniature Golf, Lazer Tag & Batting Cages also available.
- AMBUCS Friday Nights at Turtle Run – (332 E. Liberty Lane, Danville) Live music with the TBT Band; 7:00-10:00PM.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 8
- Danville Farmer’s Market at Crossroads Church – (3613 N. Vermilion, Danville) 8:00AM-Noon; Open every Saturday with COVID guidelines. Please wear masks and maintain social distancing rules. We ask that only vendors touch products until they are purchased. We look forward to seeing you there!
- Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Grape Stomp 2020 – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-7:00PM. Sleepy Creek will show their appreciation with the first 150 attendees to receive a free Pulled Pork sandwich. T & G’s BBQ will be onsite beginning at Noon; Enjoy the action with the Grape Stomping Contest beginning at 2:00PM; Live Music with the Zach Dable Trio from 4:00-6:00PM.

- Potomac American Legion Post Fish & Chicken Fry – (1010 Grant St, Potomac) 4:30-7:00PM
The Fischer Theatre Outdoor Movie Featuring “Grease” – (Downtown Danville Palace Park) Enjoy a movie on the big screen in Palace Park; Showtime 9:00PM. Movie Admission is $5 a head. - Live Music at the Gao Grotto – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) Live music with Hoosier Daddy; 4:00-7:00PM.
- Live Music at Lincoln Park – (1000 N. Logan Ave, Danville) Featuring Doc Ashton & the Root Canals each Sunday through September 6; 6:30PM
