Danville’s Public Works Department will begin making sewer repairs at the intersection of Gilbert and Voorhees streets on Monday.
Construction is set to begin at 6:30 Monday morning and last through Friday, August 21. During construction, the westbound lane of Voorhees from Oak Street to Gilbert Street as well as the northbound lane of Gilbert north of the intersection with Voorhees will be closed.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling in the work zone, and be attentive to the changes in traffic control.
