FRIDAY, AUGUST 21

  • Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Wieners & Wine/Free Live Music – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-9:00PM; Wieners & Wine 5:00-8:00PM. You buy the drinks, we provide the hot dogs, fixings & fire to roast it over. Free live music with the Black Eyed Lillies; 6:30-8:30PM; For outdoor seating, you are welcome to bring your lawn chairs and pop up tents.
  • Free Pilates Sessions at Danville Public Library – (319 N. Vermilion, Danville) We will be using a variety of instructional videos. Registration, Yoga/Pilates mat & face mask required; 4:00PM. To register call 217-477-5223 Ext. 121. For adults, ages 18 & over.
  • Danville American Legion Post #210 Dinner – (201 Prospect Place, Danville) Serving dinner from 5:00-7:00PM for curbside pickup, dine in or carry out. Place your orders in advance starting at 4:30PM. Dinner choices include catfish, catfish sandwich, shrimp, hamburger or cheeseburger, and grilled or breaded tenderloins. Cost is $9.
  • Downtown Hoopeston Farmer’s Market at 112 Wine & Coffee Shoppe Parking Lot/Live Music – (112 E. Main, Hoopeston) 5:00-7:00PM; Live music with Holly Halliwell beginning at 6:30PM.
  • Summer Sounds Free Concert Series in Downtown Danville – (Temple Plaza) Live music with the Filthy Janes Band; 5:00-9:00PM.
  • Gao Grotto Dinner – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) Menu featuring 8 oz. Cheeseburgers/Hamburgers, Chicken Strips, or Grilled Chicken Sandwich with 2 side choices; 5:30-8:30PM. Cost is $8. Appetizers are also available for purchase.
  • Brian Free & Assurance In Concert at East Lynn Park – Plan to bring lawn chairs; Concert time 6:00PM.
  • Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland – (8 Brewer Rd, Danville) 6:00-9:00PM; Admission $8. Due to COVID regulations entrance limited to 50 people. Miniature Golf, Lazer Tag & Batting Cages also available.
  • The Little Lorraine Theater Presents “Dolittle” – All Weekend – (214 E. Main, Hoopeston) Show time: Friday 7:00PM; Saturday 7:00PM; Sunday 3:00PM. COVID Restrictions are 24 movie goers per showing. Masks are required in the lobby. Concessions will be available. Movie Admission is $5 Adults & $2 Children.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22

  • Fischer Theatre Yoga & Mimosas in Palace Park – (158 N. Vermilion, Danville) Doors open at 7:45AM & Yoga will take place from 8:00-9:00AM. Registration fee of $20 includes yoga with instructor Merrit Spicer, Mimosas & coffee alongside Mad Goat bakery items. Pre-register here.
  • Danville Farmer’s Market at Crossroads Church – (3613 N. Vermilion, Danville) 8:00AM-Noon; Open every Saturday with COVID guidelines. Please wear masks and maintain social distancing rules. We ask that only vendors touch products until they are purchased. We look forward to seeing you there!
  • The Darkhorse Theatre Company Softball Tournament at Winter Park – (900 E. Winter, Danville) 8:00AM-8:00PM. This is a Fundraiser Tournament with $200 registration cost per coed team, 5 men 5 women. Please RSVP on Facebook at TheDarkHorseTheatreCompany or text 217-918-1242.

  • The Fischer Theatre Outdoor Movie Featuring “Caddy Shack” – (Downtown Danville Palace Park) Enjoy a movie on the big screen in Palace Park; Showtime 9:00PM. Movie Admission is $5 a head. Bring a lawn chair or blanket or reserve an inflatable couch for $30 (fits 3 people). Concessions & bar will be set up outside. Reserve your spot here.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23

  • Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Sunday Sounds/Cafecito Food Truck – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-6:00PM; We are open for outdoor seating, please enter at the front door. Winey Mary Sunday bar – create your own Winey Mary/Bloody Mary-style concoction with a wide selection of ingredients like fresh celery, pickles, olive, tomato juice, Tabasco, pepper, bloody Mary mix, & more. The Cafecito Food Truck will be onsite beginning at 1:00PM. Please text them at 217-474-3316 for pre-orders. Sunday Sounds with Mid-October; 3:00-5:00PM.
