A Westville man has died as a result of an early Sunday morning accident south of Danville.
Illinois State Police say 38-year-old Christopher Taflinger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 4:40 Sunday morning at the intersection of Georgetown Road and Hegeler Lane.
Police say Taflinger was driving southbound when he drove off the roadway and struck a tree.
State police continue to investigate.
