Danville Police and the Vermilion County Coroner are investigating what is being call a ‘’suspicious death’’ at a local motel.
Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says a 29-year-old woman was found at the motel around noon Thursday (January 3, 2019) who was not breathing. The woman was found after motel services checked on the guest. Coroner Jane McFadden has since identified the woman as 29-year-old Tara M. Jackson of St. Joseph, Illinois.
The name and location of the motel had not been immediately released. ‘’The death is being investigated as suspicious at this time,’’ said Thomason, but he added ‘’we do not have a definitive indication of what may have caused the death. That will be determined by a pathologist.’’
Director Thomason adds no further information about the case is being released at this time.
