Two Danville District 118 elementary schools are now under remote learning for the next two weeks.
Officials say at staff member at Garfield Elementary School has tested positive for the coronavirus, leading to the change to remote learning.
Southwest Elementary School in Tilton is also under remote learning for the next two weeks due to a positive case there.
In-person learning at both schools will resume on Tuesday, October 27th. The district will observe a full day of remote learning for all students on Monday, October 26th.
