Thirty-three new COVID-19 cases were reported over the weekend in Vermilion County.
County Health Department Administrator Doug Toole also reported the county’s 12th death from the virus Friday afternoon—a woman in her 60’s.
Currently, there are 198 active COVID cases in Vermilion County. The new cases over the weekend consist of:
- Two people in their 80’s
- Four people in their 70’s
- Six people in their 60’s
- 10 people in their 50’s
- Two people in their 30’s
- Three people in their 20’s
- Four teenagers
- One toddler
There are currently 12 people from Vermilion County who are hospitalized with the coronavirus.
The health department also reported 63 new cases on Friday afternoon.
