More than 200 people either living or working at the Danville Veterans Administration facility have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March.
Data from the Department of Veterans Affairs website shows that there are currently 45 active COVID cases at the facility on East Main Street, consisting of nine employees and 36 veterans.
A total of 230 people have tested positive overall at the Danville V.A., and three people have died.
Over 70,000 people have gotten sick with the coronavirus at Veterans Administration facilities across the country since the pandemic began.
