Four more Vermilion County residents have died from COVID-19.
The Vermilion County Health Department is also reporting 86 new cases. Administrator Doug Toole says the four deaths consist of a man and woman in their 90’s, a woman in her 70’s and a man in his 60’s. The death count locally is now at 34 individuals.
The new cases consist of:
- Two people in their 90’s
- Five people in their 80’s
- Five people in their 70’s
- 14 people in their 60’s
- Eight people in their 50’s
- 17 people in their 40’s
- 13 people in their 30’s
- 11 people in their 20’s
- Nine teenagers
- One grade-school-aged child
- One infant
There are currently 24 county residents hospitalized with COVID. Vermilion County has 248 active cases.
