Seventy-four new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Vermilion County.
Vermilion County Health Department Administrator Doug Toole says the new cases consist of:
- One person in their 80’s
- Three people in their 70’s
- 10 people in their 60’s
- 18 people in their 50’s
- 14 people in their 40’s
- 11 people in their 30’s
- 10 people in their 20’s
- Five teenagers
- Two grade-school students
There are currently 34 COVID patients who are hospitalized locally with the virus. Vermilion County currently has 238 active cases, down seven from Tuesday, and a total case count of 3,311. The local rolling positivity rate is 14.6 percent, down from Tuesday’s rate of 15.2 percent.
