State Police detectives say they have completed their investigation into the alleged attack on a 15-year-old girl on Wednesday in Vermillion County, Indiana. And Sergeant Joe Watts says the investigation is now closed. ‘’The investigation has concluded there was no public safety concern now or in the future,’’ said Watts.
State Police and Vermillion County (Indiana) Sheriff’s Police had earlier said their preliminary investigation indicated the teen had been found fully clothed and unconscious on the kitchen floor of her residence. The girl also had a severe wound to the upper part of a leg and was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton.
Sergeant Watts thanked the public for their ‘’cooperation and understanding related to the closure of this event.’’ But he added there would be no further information released regarding the case.
