Four nonprofits in the Danville area have teamed up to host a “Winter Sounds” virtual concert series over the next few months at the Fischer Theatre in downtown Danville. The first concert is this Saturday, December 19th at 7 p.m.
Tomorrow night’s show is titled the “Holiday Extravaganza” and features several area artists, including 90’s Daughter, Brian Jenkins, Candy Foster, Carey Heatherly, Dalton Halls, Jeff Markland, Jeremy Harper and Shawn Farbman, Jill Greenlee, Jorge Lemont, Logan Allen, Paige Beaulin and Shelly Nale.
Guest host for the show is Robert Poynton of The Lettermen.
The show will be broadcast over Facebook Live by searching for “Winter Sounds Concert Series.” While the show is free, viewers will be given several ways to donate from their computers or phones. Proceeds will benefit four charities: Aunt Martha’a Health and Wellness Center, DACC Foundation, Danville Library Foundation and Vermilion Heritage Foundation.
Additional concerts will be held in January, February and March.
