The Danville City Council is going to be meeting in another Saturday session over the city’s proposed budget. Mayor Scott Eisenhauer has announced the council will be holding a ‘’Budget Open House’’ on Saturday (April 1st, 2017) from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.
The meeting will be held in the lower level of the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building at 17 West Main Street.
Earlier this week the Mayor outlined a new ‘Plan C’ budget proposal that makes cuts across the board. He had earlier proposed cutting 16 firefighter positions.
