Following the riots in support of President Donald Trump at the Capitol, Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless waged their own war, and Twitter is loving it.
Sorbo, best known for his titular role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, hit up Twitter to share a conspiracy theory that the left-wing Antifa, not members of MAGA, orchestrated the attack. He retweeted a shot of rioters, captioned: “Do these look like Trump supporters? Or Leftist agitators disguised as Trump supporters.” The post is flagged as having “manipulated media” by Twitter. “They don't look like patriots to me…” Sorbo wrote in response. Lawless responded to her former Xena: Warrior Princess co-star for his “patriots” statement.
“No, Peanut. They are not Patriots. They are your flying monkeys, homegrown terrorists, QAnon actors,” Lawless wrote. “They are the douchebags that go out and do the evil bidding of people like you who like to wind them up like toys and let them do their worst. #KeepingYourFilthyHandsClean #Enabler”.
While many dubbed her a “Queen” and one fan wrote, “The day just keeps getting better and better. Lucy rules, Kevin drools,” many simply thanked her for tamping out the “conspiracy theories.”
The pair have been battling since the early aughts when Sorbo told SFX that she wasn’t conforming to right-wing “family values.”
KIRSTIE ALLEY
Kirstie Alley, one of Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters in Hollywood, is slamming Twitter for suspending his account.
“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” the company said in a statement shortly after 6 p.m Friday evening.
“ALL people should be concerned is the KEY here,” she tweeted Saturday morning. “It’s true, the average person will no longer have a platform to speak their views. This is called SLAVERY. This censorship proves BIG TECH now holds the keys to the chains.”
