Students at Oakwood Grade School will be learning remotely through January 18th due to a lack of staff members available to teach at the school.
District officials say a teacher at the school has tested positive for COVID-19 and several others have had to teach from home because of it, and there aren’t enough people remaining to sub for them.
The district says it hopes to have Oakwood Grade School students back in the classroom by Tuesday, January 19th. Families also have until 3:15 p.m. Tuesday to sign up for food distribution. People can sign up on the district’s website.
