Danville Police have arrested a 15-year-old in connection with a fatal stabbing early Tuesday (May 30th). Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says the girl was arrested around 11:30 Wednesday morning at a local home without incident. She is being held in the stabbing death of 43-year-old Kuron Kimmons of Danville. The young suspect is being held at the Vermilion County Juvenile Detention Center.
Danville Police were told Kimmons was stabbed as he was apparently attempting to break up an argument between several people. The stabbing occurred in the 900 block of Campbell Lane.
Director Thomason says the name of the young suspect is not being released because of her age.
