Danville Firefighters battled two more house fires – simultaneously – on Sunday (January 7, 2018). The most serious fire was at 19 McVey Street, where Assistant Fire Chief Duane Hall described the blaze….
There were no injuries. Cierra Lambert and Gable Larson were living in the second floor apartment. As firefighters battled that blaze near the busy intersection of Main and Gilbert Streets Sunday afternoon they got a call for a second fire….
Danville Firefighters have recently handled a string of serious house fires in brutally cold weather conditions. Sunday was much warmer, however. ‘’This feels like 80-degrees compared to what it’s been like the past week or so,’’ added Hall.
