Danville District 118 is continuing to open up more opportunities for students to learn in-person once again.
Starting on Monday, preschool students at Southwest Elementary School in Tilton will once again be able to learn inside of a classroom.
Principal Jonathan Rossi told school board members Wednesday night that the in-person program is optional, so parents who want their students to continue learning remotely can continue doing so.
Preschool students will attend Southwest from 9:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Each classroom will be limited to a total of 10 kids, with 70 students overall in the classrooms. All students will be eating lunch in the building and will be sent home with a breakfast.
Teachers will be maintaining a remote-learning session in the afternoon and will also be recording sessions for remote students.
