Two women are facing murder charges in the death of a Westville man who went missing in late December.
Chief Investigator Mike Hartshorn of the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department says that 41-year-old Michelle Ingram and 34-year-old Bailey Castigliola have been arrested in connection to the disappearance of 46-year-old Richard Truett, who had last been seen alive on December 27th. His body was found April 7th in a field near Covington.
Hartshorn says that both women were identified as suspects early on in the investigation. Ingram was arrested in February after giving investigators information about her involvement in the case. Castigliola was also arrested in early March. Both were held on lesser charges in the case until Truett’s body was discovered.
The suspects are currently being held in the Public Safety Building and are set to be arraigned on Thursday.
