The City of Danville will be hosting its 15th Annual Neighborhood Association Workshop on Saturday, March 17th.
The event gives those who are involved in the city’s neighborhood associations an opportunity to get together and share ideas
The event begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at the Harrison Park Clubhouse at 1300 West Voorhees Street.
There will be several guest speakers including Danville Public Safety Director Larry Thomason, Danville Planning Manager Christopher Milliken, and Superintendent of Community Improvement, Steve Lane – among others.
Ken Cox – who serves as liaison between the neighborhood associations and the Danville City Council – says there are currently 8 active neighborhood associations in the city. Cox would like to see more adding the ones that currently exist are always looking for new members.
