Other DACC Camps this week include the WDAN Sports Media Camp, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The camp has middle school, high school and college participation this year. The students have participated in video production and editing, heard from Fighting Illini Radio Play-by-Play announcer Brian Barnhart, and learned other aspects of sports broadcasting.
Other kids are participating this week in a Rock (n-Roll) Camp, Art and Video Editing.
Danville Area Community College President Stephen Nacco says it is great having the kids around. ‘’They just want to be on campus doing things,’’ he said during a Board of Trustees meeting Thursday evening.
