Danville Area Community College plans to start the fall term ‘’as if it’s 2019’’. So says DACC President Stephen Nacco….
{AUDIO: ”The vast majority of the classes will be face-to-face. We’ll be running full capacity – but community college size. Twenty-four — we don’t like giant, crazy classes — so twenty-four is our capacity. And labs, with slightly smaller labs we’ll still have online. But it won’t be the imbalance that we’ve had to do over the past year-and-a-half.”}
Nacco says people who come onto the campus who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19 will be asked to please wear a mask and stay socially distant.
In other DACC news, Trustees have ratified a new one year collective bargaining agreement with the Danville Area Community College Faculty Education Association, IEA-NEA. It covers the period July 1st of this year through June 30th next year.
And it has been announced that the first official event in Jacobs Hall will be an October 22, 2021 dinner honoring donors to the Danville Area Community College Foundation.
