Area residents looking for full or part-time employment will be able to meet with dozens of employers all in one spot Wednesday. Danville Area Community College is hosting its annual Career Connections Job Fair between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the College’s Mary Miller Gymnasium.
The public is invited to meet employers who will be looking to fill full and part-time positions. Last year more than 50 employers attended the event.
Students, alumni, and community members are invited to attend this free event. You will be able to learn about job opportunities, responsibilities and requirements needed to be hired. Last year some employers hired people on the spot.
Participants should dress for an interview, and it is suggested that you take several copies of your resume with you. Hoodies, sweats, ripped jeans and flip-flops are not allowed. And no children are allowed in the gym.
The event is sponsored by DACC’s Career & Employment Services Center.
