Area residents can get a lot of free information over the next week on how to better handle their money. Money Smart Week officially begins on Saturday, but there was a kick-off event at Danville Area Community College today (Thursday).
Hope Garrett is one of the co-chairs for Money Smart Week….
Garrett says there will be a variety of events over the next week to get the information out….
During that Shred Day event Saturday area residents will be able to take up to 5 boxes of materials to 3550 North Vermilion Street in Danville where it will be shredded. Hours for the shredding are from 9:00 a.m. until noon on April 21st.
