Citizens who plan to attend the Summer Sounds Concert Series in Downtown Danville this summer are being advised to leave their coolers at home. Mayor Scott Eisenhauer says revisions are being considered for the ordinance allowing open alcohol at downtown events (like Summer Sounds and Culture Shock)….
The Mayor notes last year there were a lot of people who took coolers to the events….
Mayor Eisenhauer says there will be some oversight in the downtown area where people who attempt to bring coolers to the events will be told they need to take their cooler back home.
Downtown Danville Incorporated will be hosting concerts every Friday night at Temple Plaza this summer. Meanwhile the Danville AMBUCS Concert Series will be held at Turtle Run.
