Some Danville railroad crossings are scheduled to be temporarily closed as workers from CSX Transportation repair them. The repairs are scheduled to begin Monday, May 7th and will likely last through Friday, May 11th.
Workers will be improving the CSX crossing on Bowman Avenue, south of Fairchild Street….the rail crossing on Voorhees Street, west of Bowman Avenue….and the CSX crossing on Liberty Lane.
All of the work will require the temporary closure of streets in those areas and detour routes will be posted.
