Although the award presentation was delayed for months because of the pandemic, that did not diminish the excitement for students at Danville’s Northeast Elementary Magnet School.
State Senator Scott Bennett stopped by the school Thursday to present certificates to the Northeast Elementary Archery Team for winning the 2020/2021 Illinois State Archery Virtual Tournament.
The tournament was held this past spring.
