Police are probing a Saturday night (May 19th) shooting in which a Danville man was shot in the hand. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the unit block of Bremer Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. They found a 46-year-old Danville suffering from a gunshot wound to a hand. He told police that several shots had been fired.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of what police called a non-life threatening wound. There have been no arrests in the case.
