September is arriving, and it will be hockey season before you know it. The Vermilion County Bobcats have invited four free agent players from this past weekend’s free agent camp to join the team at their Main Camp in October.
They include 25-year-old Declan Conway, formerly with the Mentor Ice Breakers of the Federal Prospects Hockey League; 22-year-old Colan Fitzgerald, a native Illinoisan out of St Rita High School in Chicago who played at Indiana University; 27-year-old Nick Bullo, who played 48 games for the Danville Dashers during the 2019-2020 season; and 25-year-old Dakota Ulmer, who formerly played NCAA Division Three hockey at Bryn Athyn College.
This coming season will be the debut of the Vermilion County Bobcats, competing in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
