One day after reporting 100 new COVID cases in Vermilion County, the Health Department reported another 85 cases Thursday night. This included three infants, two grade-school aged children, and 17 teenagers.
For new positive COVID-19 cases among adults there were 14 people in both their 20s and 30s, 17 in their 40s, 15 in the 50s and 60s range, and three in the 70s and 80s range.
These other statistics, as of the Second of September, were reported by the Vermilion County Health Department:
-50,090 total vaccination doses have been issued.
-26,691 county residents are fully vaccinated.
-34.75 percent of the county’s total population, based on the 2018 amount, are completely vaccinated.
-69.31 percent of residents 65 and older are completely vaccinated.
-35.5 percent of residents 18 to 64 are completely vaccinated.
