Illinois State Police say they are continuing to investigate multiple reports of vehicles being damaged while traveling on Interstate 74 between Ogden and Champaign. Drivers have reported their windows have been shattered by an unknown object or objects.
Anyone who has information regarding such incidents is being urged to call 9-1-1. ‘’We are taking these criminal acts very seriously,’’ said District 10 Illinois State Police Commander Captain Louis Kink.
‘’Participating in this type of activity can injure or kill a driver or passenger in a vehicle and possibly cause a major traffic crash,’’ added Commander Kink.
