A Thursday morning shooting left a 17-year-old female with a gunshot wound to her lower leg. Danville Police say the shooting happened at 10:22 AM Thursday morning. The victim said she was walking in the alleyway near Tillman and Main Streets when she heard the one shot fired and was struck in the leg. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment of her non-life threatening wound. The victim said she did not see who fired the shot, and no suspect information is available at this time.
