The re-grand opening of the Oakwood McDonald’s helped kick-off efforts last night to raise funds for renovating Oakwood’s city baseball park. Oakwood Mayor Clay Woodard is excited about the effort…
The project will feature a new Oakwood Wall of Fame…and the first three inductees were all on hand for last night’s announcement. They are retired pro baseball player Darrin Fletcher, pro football player Cameron Lee, and professional race car driver Bobby Pierce.
The three signed autographs and talked with fans last evening at the Oakwood McDonald’s.
Mayor Woodard says Oakwood is ripe for other development, too….
