Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has released the names of 2 people found shot to death at a home in Danville early Thursday. She says the victims are 21-year-old LaTrey Reed and 20-year-old Taniyah Williams, both of Danville. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason says they lived at the home in the 1300 block of Lape Street where the bodies were found.
Mourners stood in a driving rain outside the home today (Thursday) as police processed the crime scene. Director Thomason says police were called to the home at about 4:15 a.m. (July 5, 2018)….
Thomason told VermilionCountyFirst.com News there were two other people in the home when the shootings occurred but they were not hurt. He says both of those who were uninjured are adults. And Director Thomason added there have been no arrests in the case….

Illinois State Police Crime Scene Officers are assisting Danville Police in the investigation and were on the scene this morning.
Lape Street is located a block north of East Main…near the intersection of East Main and Griffin Streets in Danville.
