The newly-crowned queenof the 2018 Vermilion County Fair & Expo — Megan Brown of Rossville — is facing a busy week, and she loves it! She not only has her normal duties to perform as queen, but has also entered some of her animals in the 4-H competition. Brown was busy Thursday morning getting one of her rabbits ready to be judged when she took a break to talk with VermilionCountyFirst.com News about the busy week ahead…
And as she brushed her rabbit, Brown outlined her schedule for the day (Thursday)…..
As for her future plans, the new Vermilion County Fair Queen told us….
First runner-up in the Queen Contest was Emily Duncan, also of Rossville. 2nd runner-up was Cassidy Bryant.
In the Jr. Miss Vermilion County Fair contest, the winner was Allie Morris, 1st runner-up was Taylor Miles.
The pageant was moved to the Oakwood Grade School due to Wednesday evening’s weather conditions.
